Lung and airway problems in horses can be heard and not recognising or understanding the symptoms can have dire consequences for the horse.
We would like to discourage people from trying out all sorts of "herbal mixtures" and "homemade remedies" etc., without prior knowledge of the contents, affects, and side effects of such remedies.
Some mixtures may be thoroughly useless whilst others may be fantastic, however their use may not be allowed under FEI and / or Jockey Club rules, because
they may contain certain banned substances.
Our FTS Oxy - gene is comprised from best quality raw materials and mixed according to a balanced formula.
FTS Oxy - gene, composition and properties:
Althea Officinalis, settles the mucosa, anti-inflammatory properties and stimulates the immune system.
Plantago Lanceolata, anti bacterial, anti-inflammatory, relives irritation and works as an expectorant.
Cetraria Islandica, soothes the mucosa, antibiotic properties.
Foenicum Vulgare, assists secretion, clears airways and slackens spasms.
Pimpinella Anisum, essential oil which dilutes slime, secretive properties.
Glycyrrhiza Glabra, secretolytic expectorant properties, anti-inflammatory and antiviral.
Vitamin C supports the immune system.
Feeding instructions:
Herbs are only useful to a horse when they are fed to him in a ration relative to body weight. We recommend, depending on body weight and condition of the horse,
a daily dose of 80 - 200 gram of FTS Oxy - gene for a maximum period of 6 weeks.
For a curative measure the horse should be fed, one week on, one week off and so forth. It can also be used complimentary to veterinary therapy.
